For the moment, we are about to introduce the "Family" pie, although are considering adding a smaller version. The "Deep" size will remain until feb 14. They are “roof only” pies. No pastry walls or floors. This means that the pie is packed with good sized chunks of meat. To knock the opposition for a moment, let me merely point out that a four-person supermarket pie will weigh about 500g and have pastry floors, walls and a roof. The meat content will be around 150g. While it may cost less, it will have about a sixth of the meat. Our "DEEP" pie has over a kilo of meat. Our pies have a mat content of 70% as opposed to a supermarket pie of about 36%. This is to say nothing about the quality of the meat and the other ingredients. Whilst I do not necessarily think it is a good idea to blow ones’ own trumpet, it is sometimes a good idea to let people know that you have one!
